Joe Holbrook age 65 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 25, 2012 at his home. He is the husband of Carol Hammons Holbrook,whom survives.

Joe was born February 14, 1947 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the son of the late Herbert and Mabel Risner Holbrook.

Surviving are his wife, five sons, Jonathan Bradley Holbrook of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Chris Lemaster, Anthony Lemaster and Joe Lemaster, all of Salyersville, Kentucky and Eddie Holbrook of Ohio; one brother, Herbert JR Holbrook of Salyersville, Kentucky; one sister, Jewel Fronto of Pikeville, Kentucky and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, three brothers, Johnny Boone Holbrook, Roy Eugene Holbrook and Ollie C. Holbrook and one sister, Norma Collinsworth precedes Joe in death.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 1PM from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Arnold Turner JR officiating. Burial will follow in the Earl May Cemetery at Salyersville, Kentucky.

Friends may call after 5PM Wednesday, June 27, 2012 and anytime prior to the hour of Funeral Services.

Military Rites will be given by the Salyersville DAV Chapter 15 the day of the services.
