Charles Buster Dingus, age 85 a resident of Salyersville, KY passed away Saturday afternoon June 9, 2012 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, KY. He was born May 1, 1927 in Magoffin County to the late John and Lou Coffee Dingus.

He is survived by two sons; Kenneth(Judith) Dingus of Salyersville, Ky and Steve Dingus of Paintsville Ky, one daughter; Dianna Kay Dingus of Amanda, OH, two sisters; Nannie B. Collinsworth of Salyersville, Ky, and Faye Howard of Morrow, OH. Also survivng is a grandchild; Mark Dingus.

Along with his parents Buster is preceded in death by his wife; Ruth Gibson Dingus, two brothers; Ronald Dingus and Bill Dingus, and three sisters; Ruby Burton, Lena Keeton and Thelma Dingus.

Funeral Services for Charles "Buster" Dingus will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Harper-Allen Cemetery at White Oak, Ky. Officiating will be Russell Dingus.

Friends may call the funeral home after 6 P.M. Monday, June 11, 2012 and anytime Tuesday prior to funeral services.
