Roy Lee Nickles, age 60 a resident of Salyersville, KY passed away June 3, 2012 at the Paul B. Hall Medical Center. He was born April 5, 1952 in Magoffin County to the late Hobert and AnnaLean Moore Nickels.

Roy is survived by one son; Roy Ray Nickels of Salyersville, Ky, one step-son; Daniel Richard Prater of Pikeville, Ky, two daughters; Connie Rowe of Royalton, Ky, and Barbara Sue LaMore of Salyersville, Ky, one brother; Roger Lee Nickels of Royalton, Ky, five sisters; Peggy Wireman of Royalton Ky, Edna Gay Miller of Royalton, Ky, Mary Allen of Richmond, Indiana, Goldie Rowe of Royalton, Ky, and Joy Lynn Brown of Royalton, Ky. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and 7 step-great great grandchildren.

Along with his parents Roy is preceded in death by his wife; Brenda Kay Prater Nickels, one brother; Bobby Nickels, and one sister; Gracie Lee Gipson.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 1 PM from the Guncreek United Baptist Church with Phillip Puckett and Hubert Gipson, JR. officiating. Burial will follow in the Duchnowski Cemetery at Left Fork Johnson, Kentucky.

Friends may call after 7 PM Tuesday, June 5, 2012, all day Wednesday, June 6, 2012 and anytime prior to Funeral Services.
